ARCHBISHOP KURTZ'S LETTER REGARDING RELIGIOUS LIBERTY AND HHS REGULATIONS
January 31, 2012 The United States Bishops are asking the Faithful to take a stand for religious liberty and to not comply with the Health and Human Services mandate that "almost all employers, including Catholic employers, will be forced to offer their employees’ health coverage that includes sterilization, abortion-inducing drugs, and contraception." January 19, 2012 Without explicitly naming President Barack Obama, Pope Benedict XVI made it clear today that he sees the administration as a threat to religious liberty. The pope spoke eloquently on the role that religious freedom has played since the founding of America, and of the need for Catholics to follow the natural law. But he also said, “The legitimate separation of Church and State cannot be taken to mean that the Church must be silent on certain issues.” Specifically, he called attention to the “grave threats to the Church’s public moral witness presented by a radical secularism which finds increasing expression in the political and cultural spheres.” Read More
ARCHBISHOP DOLAN SPEAKS OUT AGAINST HHS RULE
WASHINGTON—Cardinal-designate Timothy Dolan of New York, president of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB), sharply criticized the decision by the Obama administration in which it “ordered almost every employer and insurer in the country to provide sterilization and contraceptives, including some abortion-inducing drugs, in their health plans.” He made the statement in a web video posted at: http://bcove.me/ob5itz9v

The Rosary with Archbishop Kurtz, the WLCR edition of Rosary on the Air is supported by Holy Family Radio, but the Rosary on the Air has little support on other station.
