WLCR AM 1040

WLCR was purchased in early 1999, the effort and commitment of more than thirty local Catholics. The station went on the air on Pentecost Sunday, 1999. The station is a lay apostolate working to bring Catholic programming to the Bullitt and Jefferson County area and to assist Catholic parishes and organizations with publicizing local Catholic events.

How Do You Do It?

WLCR currently operates on a modest budget. Almost thirty volunteers assist with various aspects of station operations and more than 300 people supported the station by contributions to Holy Family Radio. WLCR offers its sincere thanks to each of our supporters and helpers.
