- Description:
- The Louisville Greek Festival will feature live Greek music, the Kefi and Athenian dancers, children's activities, arts and crafts, wines and imported Greek beers. This event takes place on the Belvedere rain or shine under a tent.
[1:00pm] Learn to Sail - Free Clinic
- Description:
- A free learn to sail clinic for children ages 9-18 and for adults. The children's session is from 1-3pm or 3-5pm. The adults session is from 1-4pm. The first hour of each session the children will learn about parts of a sailboat, how wind moves a sailboat, a few nautical knots and some nautical terminology. The second hour the children will go sailing aboard a 25-foot or larger sailboat. For the adults, there will be a single three hour session, which will run from 1 to 4 p.m. The first two hours attendees will be introduced to sailing in a land-based presentation. The third hour, the adults will spend an hour sailing on the Ohio River aboard a 25-foot or larger sailboat.
